During a question-and-answer session with Fox News host Sean Hannity at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Friday, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) repented for his past on immigration reform, saying he’s “learned” from the experience.
He told the audience that the United States must “prove” that future illegal immigration will be controlled.
“We don’t have the mechanisms in place to enforce some of our immigration laws,” Rubio said. “You can’t just tell people, ‘we’re going to secure the border. We’re going to put E-Verify,’ you have to do it.”
