The 24-year-old singer/songwriter announced the release date for her fifth studio album, “1989,” and also released the music video for the already hit single, “Shake It Off.”

Just minutes after Swift announced the album’s title and release date at Yahoo’s first ever worldwide livestream at the Good Morning America studios, she sat down with Fusion’s Alicia Menendez to talk about her new album, the brief hiatus in between, and how her music has changed since RED.

The hiatus is over, the single is out, and the anticipation is high. Univision’s “Despierta America” took note.
