Cory Booker to Jorge Ramos: Bernie Sanders should not drop out of the race

Politicians: They're so not like us!

They do the nae nae! They ride the subway! They bake matzah at Jewish bakeries in Brooklyn!

In addition to convincing the American people they have what it takes to lead the free world, presidential candidates also have to have a certain quality about them that neither education nor experience can buy: relatability. As politicians, they understand they have to appeal to the average voter, and that usually means coming across as someone with whom the average American would simply want to grab a beer.

But politicians as of late have proven they’re actually more out of touch with regular Americans than they think. Cheers to trying!
