With 21 medical marijuana states and majority support for legalization, there has been lots of positive news – tax windfalls in Colorado, cannabis as a miracle cure for epilepsy, etc. But some Americans are reaching the “all-right-already” moment, and negative stories about marijuana’s effects on individuals and society are starting to surface.

Dr. Volkow explains the risks of adolescent marijuana use, as well as a possible link between weed and schizophrenia. But Dr. Volkow also has some positive things to say about marijuana’s potential uses as medicine.
