Sarah Badawi and Kayla Wingbermuehle, have two very different jobs with the same goal: make college debt a thing of the past. Sarah spends her days walking the august halls of Congress, lobbying legislators on the issue of debt-free college, while Kayla mobilizes efforts at the grassroots level to engender support for the policy all around the country. This is part of their dual strategy at the Progressive Change Campaign Committee to work inside and outside the system in the hopes of making debt-free college a national issue. Together, Sarah and Kayla have helped make ending college debt one of the signature issues of the 2016 presidential campaign.
