Race has always been at the forefront of ABC’s hit comedy Black-ish. Anthony Anderson stars in the show as a high-level advertising executive called Andre who worries his privileged kids are out of touch with their roots. The show mixes racial themes with comedy but this week it’s taking on a different tone by tackling the controversial topic of police brutality.
