Anthony Anderson stars in the show as a high-level advertising executive called Andre who worries his privileged kids are out of touch with their roots. The show mixes racial themes with comedy but this week it’s taking on a different tone by tackling the controversial topic of police brutality.

Nightline on Fusion spoke to the cast and crew about the episode and the messages they’re trying to send to primetime audiences.
