Steve Haworth on the New Trends in Body Modification

Fusion reporter Zara Stone introduced you to the elfing trend: people having their ears surgically pointed to look more like elves, a form of body modification. And while this may not be something we see everyday , body modification isn’t a new phenomenon. People have been tattooing and piercing their bodies for thousands of years but we brought in a man who is said to have birthed the entire modern body modification movement, Steve Haworth. Before him there was simply piercing, scarification and tattooing – all merely modern implementations of traditional art forms. Steve discusses the newest trends in body modification with Fusion’s Alicia Menendez.
