The most popular star on YouTube isn’t Taylor Swift or One Direction, it’s a Swedish-born gamer. Known as ‘PewDiePie‘, Felix Kjellberg, has more than 40 million loyal subscribers. The goofy, high-energy 26-year-old won YouTube by posting videos of himself playing games. Internet fame is serious business. Last year, he earned $7.4 million and this year, he released his first book. Kjellberg sat down with Nightline on Fusion to talk about his future plans which include a new series on YouTube’s subscription-only channel.
PewDiePie partners with Maker Studios, a subsidiary of Disney. Fusion is partly owned by Disney’s ABC network.
