A report by Fusion’s investigative unit in 2013 found that a Mexican teen was shot twice in the head, then shot eight more times while he laid on the sidewalk by the border fence that divides Arizona from Mexico. It’s one of many claims of excessive force by Border Patrol. In response to these claims, the agency is mounting cameras throughout the border and on agents themselves. Nightline on Fusion met with Border Patrol’s top reformer to find out if this will be enough.
