In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Donald Trump suggests calling the police on your neighbors

Donald Trump told supporters in South Carolina on Tuesday that they should call the police on neighbors they may find suspicious because “everybody’s their own cop in a way.”

“The really greatest source is all of you. Because you have all those eyes,” Trump said of preventing terrorism.

“People move into a house a block down the road, you know who’s going in,” Trump explained. “You can see and you report them to the local police.”

“But you people, and me, and everybody… you’re pretty smart, right?” he continued, addressing a crowd of thousands who had turned out to listen to a man who says he wants to surveil mosques and bring back waterboarding. “We know if there’s something going on, report them. Most likely you’ll be wrong, but that’s OK.”

What could possibly go wrong.
