While data and statistics are important and help us understand the severity of the disease, we must remember that there are real human stories behind each number you read in a scientific study.
These women are much more than their cancer diagnosis. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time to raise awareness and funds, but also to honor the extraordinary individuals touched by this disease.
