Fusion's Jorge Ramos on what he learned covering the 2016 race

Will Ben Carson run for president?

Fusion’s Jorge Ramos asked the world’s most famous doctor if he plans to run for office.

The American author and former neurosurgeon is famous for conducting the first successful separation surgery on conjoined twins joined by the head in 1987. He has become a popular conservative figure in recent years for his vocal opposition to the Affordable Care Act, same-sex marriage, and evolution. However, he says he is not affiliated with any particular political party — though that hasn’t stopped fans from creating a website urging him to run on the Republican party ticket in 2016.

“I think I have to consider it,” Carson told Ramos.
