TIME.com released their list of the 25 most influential teens, and it was just a tiny bit upsetting to see Kendall and Kylie Jenner on the same list as Malala Yousafzai. So, to make a quick point, I thought it would be fun to compare these “influential” teens.
Malala is a strong advocate of girls education and while on a school bus she was shot in the head by the Taliban for it.
Kendall Jenner is a model and at New York Fashion Week this year, some other models threw cigarettes in her drink during the show. Damn.
Pakistan’s National Peace Prize was renamed after Malala… it’s now called the National Malala Peace Prize.
Kenall and Kylie wanted to have a fantasy fiction book. Someone else wrote it, and they put their name on it.
Malala is the youngest person ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize.
Kylie Jenner is the youngest person ever to start a hair extension line.
Malala met with the Nigerian president to press for action to free the 200 girls held by Boko Haram Islamist Militants.
Kendall and Kylie met with Steve Madden, and they now have a shoe line with his company.
Malala started the Malala Fund to create a world where girls are empowered to reach their potential through a quality education.
And Kendall and Kylie… have a clothing line at PacSun.
It’s apples and oranges people!
