Wasteland: A First Look

Donald Trump goes to South Beach to ask about the United States vs. Mexico game

This Saturday night (October 10), the U.S. men’s national team will once again face off with sporting and social rivals Mexico, this time in the CONCACAF Cup. The match-up—taking place in what is sure to be a largely pro-El Tri Rose Bowl in Los Angeles—will award the victorious nation with a spot in the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia. Depending on who you ask, and how much beer they’ve consumed, a spot at the Confederations Cup a very important thing.

With so much on the line, there was only one man we could count on to take the patriotic pulse of Miami: Donald Trump. We sent the current Republican presidential front-runner to South Beach to see if the locals did, in fact, “believe that we will win.”
