The Senate's Up All Night To...Reverse Climate Change?

The Senate did something we all did/do during finals week. No, they didn’t binge-watch their favorite show, they pulled an all-nighter.

Around 30 Senators kept the Capitol open after-hours to discuss climate change. Yes, it was a critical intellectual dialogue…and they even had their own “cool” hashtag, #Up4ClimateChange.
Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) kicked the night off stating some truths and quoting the Dalai Lama. Sen. Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts) quoted “The Lorax.” But important questions arise out of this all-nighter. Questions like, did they do a dramatic reading of “Silent Spring?” Did they eat Munchies and sing around a fire? Were the Munchies organic?

Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) stopped by Alicia Menendez Tonight to answer some of our questions. Can you guess who brought the coffee and bagels?
