In an interview with Fusion’s Jorge Ramos, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu backed away from the suggestion that he and President Obama differ on their view of Iran.
“We don’t want to see Iran as a military nuclear power, that we completely agree on,” Netanyahu explained. “Where I differ is I say it’s not merely enough to deprive them of nuclear weapons. It’s important to deprive them of the capacity to make nuclear weapons in a very short time.”
He added, “I, as the Prime Minister of Israel, am concerned that history is not going to give the Jewish people another chance.”
