Surprisingly enough, climbing a tree in California’s Redwood Forest is something no one has dared to attempt. That’s exactly why Chris Sharma–considered one of the world’s best rock climbers–was drawn to it. But even for the experienced climber, the ascent of about 252 feet was the biggest challenge he’s faced. Nightline on Fusion spoke to Sharma about what it took to prepare himself both physically and mentally.
