Los Tigres del Norte don’t shy away from singing about the reality of their country. Over the years, the legendary Mexican band has sung corridos about the country’s drug culture, immigration, poverty and— their most recent hit— lesbian love.
So what’s next for Los Tigres? Will they write a corrido about the missing 43 students from Ayotzinapa, or the political corruption scandals rocking their native country?
We caught up with Los Tigres backstage during a recent concert at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre, and this is what they had to say…
