Lauren Reskin sells more than records out of her independent music store in Miami. Founded in 2005, Sweat Records has been attracting indie music enthusiasts through coffee, live performances, and the “tactile” experience of combing through records to find the perfect album. But it’s not just music that interests Lauren. Sweat Records’ calendar is packed with events from “Anti-Imperialism Day!” to “Indie Filmmaker Vincent Moon,” and everything in between.
