Dutch Artist Reimagines Drawing He Made As a Child Into Artworks

The most that will ever happen with your pre-school doodles is probably a few days on the refrigerator — then they’ll be lost forever.

However, one artist is going back to his roots and reworking his childhood drawing in to some pretty spectacular works of art.

Telmo Pieper, from the TELMO MIEL duo — an artist duo from the Netherlands — photoshopped new creations using his old drawing as inspiration.

Among the things he reimagined are thing I’m sure we all tried (and miserably failed) at sketching when we were toddlers, like …

A bear.

A whale.

And a car.

“Digital painted Creatures and stuff based on my own childhood drawings. I designed these creatures at the age of 4 and now reincarnated them with digital painting” his website said under the album.

Other images include a butterfly, a bird and a snail.

Check out his website, TelmoPieper.com for the full album and you might just be inspired to find your old doodles.
