If asking 20 strangers to kiss for the first time seemed awkward to you, how about asking 20 strangers to undress — each other? That’s the idea behind the “Undress Me.”
You know how it is: That first time you meet someone and want to undress each other. Bra clasps won’t unhook, belts won’t loosen, and there’s always that damn button you just want to bite off!
In a sequel to her popular “First Kiss” video, which showed strangers–you guessed it!–kissing, filmmaker Tatia Pilieva’s “Undress Me” portrays the perfectly awkward reactions of strangers taking each other’s clothes off.
“I asked strangers to undress each other and get in bed. Nothing else. No rules,” the video’s description says.
This film was made in collaboration with Showtime for “Masters of Sex,” and according to the Huffington Post, was intended as a celebration of the work of the titular pioneers of research in human sexuality: William Masters and Virginia Johnson.
This video joins a stable of other “stranger encounters,” including “The Slap” and our own take on the trend: “Bite.” Lots of videos like these have been popping up on the Internet, showing us that once societal norms are removed, we can be comfortable–even with a stranger.
