According to the Pew Research Center Latinx youth are behind other groups in earning a four-year college degree. Only 15% of Latinx between the ages of 25 and 29 have a bachelor’s degree or higher. That’s compaed to 41% of their white counterparts, 22% of African Americans, and 63% of Asian Americans.
Part of the problem is helping Latinx navigate the complex world of higher education. Many come from families where they’re the first to attend college. This video gives some practical real-world advice on how to help them stay on the path and get the education they deserve.
