“It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?” Sterling said. “You can sleep with [them]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that … and not to bring them to my games.”
Sterling received a lifetime ban from the NBA and a $2.5 million fine for his asinine remarks.
3. Mel Gibson
Over the years, Mel Gibson has been caught saying all sorts of colorful things.

In rants rivaling his battle cries in Braveheart, the Hollywood juggernaut has dropped the N-bomb, referred to Hispanics as “wetbacks” and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend.
4. John Galliano
Fashion mogul and self-professed lover of Adolf Hitler, John Galliano was caught on tape hurling anti-Semitic remarks in a Paris bar.

Because that sort of thing is frowned upon in France, Galliano was put on trial. He was convicted, fined, and confessed that he was addicted to alcohol and pills.
5. Mitt Romney
In 2012, presidential hopeful Mitt Romney was secretly taped in Florida while speaking to a small group of wealthy contributors.

Romney’s remarks went viral and gave the Obama campaign a lift by bolstering the notion that Romney was an elitist and out of touch with average Americans.
