Yes, Colorado Brides Can Now Order Cannabis Wedding Bouquets

Wedding season is upon us. The dreaded envelope is in the mail, the “save the date” is posted on the fridge, and there’s an outpour of lavender, lilac and pastel on bridesmaids who look both equally excited and irritated. Now Colorado, America’s answer to Amsterdam, is getting in the nuptial mood in the only way it knows how: marijuana bouquets.

We’ve told you about Jane West before, a Colorado based cannabis entrepreneur and owner of Edible Events, a monthly dinner party designed for the epicurean stoner. West has now teamed up with Colorado florist Bec Koop from Bec’s Blossoms to offer wedding bouquet packages called “Buds and Blossoms”. Yes, really.

Happy brides can now walk up the aisle clutching a bouquet comprised of flowers and that sticky icky, leafy green plant.

For those interested, Koop requires the future brides to provide the cannabis two days prior to the wedding along with the receipt from the dispensary (for legal reasons). Ms. Koop is also a certified budtender so she can advise on what greens and flowers might work well together.

To all brides to be, we say have a happy high wedding this year! Now just watch out for red eye in those wedding photos.
