Cruz Suspects Clintons ‘Got Enormous Grief’ From WH on Obamacare

Former President Bill Clinton claims he didn’t get any blowback from the White House for saying that President Obama should allow people to keep their health insurance plans.

But Sen. Ted Cruz isn’t so sure.

The potential 2016 Republican presidential candidate suggested that the comments caused a rift between Obama and the Clintons. Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State and First Lady, is widely believed to be seeking the Democratic presidential nomination in three years.

“I suspect the reason that Bill Clinton said what he said to you in that interview is that he and Hillary got enormous grief from the White House for having distanced themselves, because it sent the signal to Democrats it’s OK to acknowledge that Obamacare isn’t working,” Cruz told Fusion’s Jorge Ramos.
