Couples explain why they wanted to be on “My Husband’s Not Gay”

TLC is no stranger to controversy. From “19 Kids & Counting” to “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” the network’s reality shows always seem to have people riled up. Their latest controversial show? “My Husband’s Not Gay.” The spexial will follow three married couples and one bachelor, where the married men admit being attracted to men but instead, prefer to be married to women. “My Husband’s Not Gay” is slated to premiere this Sunday, but many are already calling for its cancellation.

Fusion’s Alicia Menendez sat down with the couples in their hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah for ABC’s Nightline. The interview will air alongside the show premiere this Sunday.
