Goodbyes are always difficult.
Especially when your team’s coach has been around for six seasons, and that coach has led the side to two Bundesliga titles, one German Cup, and a Champions League final, all while playing thrilling, fast-paced soccer.
Sure, Borussia Dortmund has had an exceedingly tough time of it this season, which is part of the reason Jürgen Klopp is leaving. But the fans know what he’s brought to this team. And they certainly paid their respects on Saturday, during Klopp’s last home game:
Dortmund still has a chance for a trophy this season, with the German Cup final yet to come. But this might be all the thanks Klopp needs.
