Ever have to schedule a flight during a game you desperately want to watch? If so, you know that it’s awful. It’s defeating to know millions of regular civilians are down on the ground enjoying hours of intense sporting drama while you’re forced to listen to your plane neighbor struggle to realize that you have negative interest in answering personal questions.
But several thousand people no longer have to suffer. At least not today. Thanks to the great people at Turkish Airlines, passengers on 17 Turkish Airlines planes will be able to watch every minute of this evening’s Clásico.
Mediapro, the company that owns the media rights for La Liga, came to an agreement with the Turkish airline, marking the first time that La Liga matches will be broadcast live on a flight on an aircraft at up to 30,000 feet.
So, if you’re on one of these flights, you’re in luck.
Enjoy the game. And best of luck ignoring the person next to you.
